Herb & Dorothy
With meager savings from their low-paying jobs (Herb sorted mail for the Post Office and Dorothy was a librarian), Herb and Dorothy Vogel built one of the nation’s most extensive art collections, as well as intimate relationships with virtually every top artist in the New York area. Though the value of their collection grew to be worth many millions, they never sold a single piece. Sitting together in their cramped kitchen, they recount their courtship, marriage and shared art journey.
