Mary and Max

A claymation tale about innocent correspondence between Mary (voice of Toni Collete), a chubby, lonely, eight-year-old girl from Australia, and Max, (voice of Philip Seymour Hoffman) a 44-year-old severely obese Jewish man with Asperger’s syndrome living in New York. Over 20 years, the unlikely pen pals discuss everything from taxidermy to trust, pets, religion and obesity.
